VICTOR MOSES AND MIKEL OBI TO MISS NIGERIA/BURKINA FASO FRIENDLY


The new Liverpool signing, Victor Moses and Chelsea midfielder, Obi Mikel will not be playing tomorrow international friendly match between the super Eagle of Nigeria and the Burkina Faso in Kaduna State, Nigeria.


According to the Super Eagle Media Officer, Ben Alaiya, both players were cleared to return to base by the Eagle Coach, Stephen Keshi.

John Mikel Obi got a slight calf knock in the last weekend World Cup Qualifier against the Flames of Malawi that require attention. Meanwhile, Victor Moses who also performed a crucial role in the weekend match against Malawi in Calabar was excused to enable him to tie up things at his new club Liverpool.

Mikel Obi and Victor Moses are the only players of the squad that played against Flames of Malawi that will not be playing in Tuesday international friendly match against Burkina Faso.

The Super Eagle of Nigeria beats the Flames of Malawi two goals to nothing on Saturday in Calabar Nigeria to qualify for the last stage and the knock out state of the 2014 World Cup Qualification. The Eagles will soon know their opponent and are expected to play their final elimination match in October and November this year.
