A young man, Akintunde Omotehinde in
Ado Ekiti was reminded in Prison Custody for allegedly ‘forcefully and
unlawfully’ raped 60-year-old mother.
The
Ekiti Magistrate Court in Ekiti State on Monday put a 27-year-old man in prison
for raping an old woman on 23rd of August 2013.
The
prosecutor Ebenezer said the accused unlawfully had carnal knowledge of his
mother which led to her being hospitalized.
He
also said, the accused assaulted and inflicted injuries on Isiaka who attempted
to separate him from his mother during the act.
The
accused was therefore reminded in prison custody and the case was adjourned to
16th of October 2013.
