incumbent President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, 89, who has been in power for
33 years now has been declared as the president for another five years with 61 percent
over Tsvangiri 33 per cent.
Robert
Mugabe has been in power after helped to end white rule in 1980. He was however
won the presidential election held last Wednesday and will rule the country
again for another five years.

election that emerged Mugabe as the president for another term has been
condemned and challenged by the 61-year-old Tsvangirai, who has tried to unseat

election with 61 per cent of the vote, compared to 33 percent for challenger
Morgan Tsvangirai.

Secretary of state John Kerry described the election as “deeply flawed” and
said the US “does not believe that the results… today represent a credible

verified and agreed voters roll,” Foreign Minister Bob Carr said in a
