In a week where there was no league match, the Player of the week will be made up of Super Eagles players at the Confederations Cup.

Mikel Obi stood head and shoulders above his team mates in their last two matches – against Uruguay and Spain while scoring a sumptuous goal against Uruguay. The Chelsea midfielder passed, moved, dribbled like we had forgotten he could. With this new Mikel, the national team will be best served in the years to come.
The Chelsea man, who just signed a new five year contract last December will be best served playing in a team that will allow his offensive trait to fluorish. Goal
