The Movie Moments team however brings to your reading delight, a special children day special feature which had top actresses and actors talking about their kids in various interviews.

My kids think I am their situation too much. So I am thinking that if I was around, they would have run away from the house. I feel I am a very hands on mum a trip and they were telling me that I am always on the phone with them. Even though my husband is always around, I know what they are doing every minute.


 I think I am a bit too strict with them maybe because I am taking after my mother. She was a disciplinarian to the core.”

Dakore Egbuson: I want to respect my daughter as an individual
“Regarding my daughter at the heart of it it’s because I want to protect her as much as possible and make sure she is ready. I don’t mind really, but what if she minds? Then what? Now she is a baby, she can barely speak. I want her to get to the age when she can say “Mom, I’d like to do this photoshoot with you”. I want to respect her as an individual and make sure it’s something she is comfortable with because once you’re out there, you’re out there. I know what I do but I don’t want to affect her life if that is not what she wants to do as well.”

Desmond Elliot: I want to have 7 kids

“Definitely, I want to have a big family like 7. But not now, when my wife is more rested and the kids are grown more and also when I have more money just so I can give them all the best. I love kids so yes, definitely we’ll have more.”

“Very soon, I intend to get married because I stand firm on the Lord’s time for me. I am not in haste to tie the nuptial but when the time is ripe for me, nothing can stop it. I love kids and I hope to raise mine soon.”

Mercy Johnson: I just can’t stop staring at Purity

“It’s magical, it’s awesome! I just can’t stop staring at her. When I was pregnant, my sister-in-law came to the house and when her son pooped I said “Oh my God, don’t let it touch my chair!” Then I was about six months gone and she just looked at me and said “In three months time, you will understand”. And really, it is true. Now when Purity poops, I begin to dance. Everything is special. I want to clean her up myself, dress her up myself. I just can’t explain, she makes me complete.

Omoni Oboli: I had to be a mother and actress with Tobe

Well, I’m not training him to be an actor, he wants to be an actor but he is still young…. If eventually he decides that he wants to be an actor, then fine. But I’m not pushing. It’s what he wants to do. It doesn’t have anything to do with me really…

It was challenging, because I had to look out for him as well. It wasn’t just being an actress on set, I had to be a mother and make sure he doesn’t mix too much with the adults and listen in to their conversations, stuff like that…The youngest is 7 and the one after him is 8 now. Usually, there is always a two year gap but because of the months of their birth, it sometimes seems like one. But in a couple of months now, they are going to be 7, 9 and 11. Their names are Chizi, Gozi and Tobe.
