Nigerian ex-internationals mourn Jossy Lad
A United States of America-based group, the Association of ex-internationals in the Diaspora (ANED), has mourned the passage of the former coach of the Super Falcons, Joseph Ladipo, who was fondly called Jossy Lad.
In a release signed by a former Green Eagles stalwart, Christian Nwokocha, the group described Jossy Lad’s demise as a cruel loss to the Nigerian soccer family.
Th group said that the deceased was a truly special human being who devoted his time on earth to the service his fatherland.
“ANED is deeply sorry for the loss of Joseph Ladipo. He was a truly special human being to us and we will never forget the moments we all shared together on and off the field.
“It looks so cruel to lose one so dear to us. Time may dim the grief, but we will never forget Jossy Lad. Please accept our sincere condolences, and sympathies for loss of Joseph Ladipo.. Always in our hearts”, added Nwokocha, who was the first Nigerian player to play for Sporting Lisbon of Portugal.
He added that ANED members were going to forever miss Jossy Lad, even as he prayed that God grants those the deceased left behind the fortitude to bear this great loss..
“Even on your darkest days there is an angel by your side to guide you along the way. Joseph Ladipo’s memory will always be in our hearts. His love will glow the way. Every life has an impact on this world. We will all miss you, Joseph touched so many lives.
“We join the family in your sorrow. ANED wish the family of Joseph Ladipo peace and quick healings. We are sending our love and heart broken through this Bereavement. Members of ANED’s special thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow”, added Nwokocha, on behalf of ANED.
