He said this during his visit to Akwa Ibom State NYSC permanent camp. He noted that due to high rate and report on kidnapping, it is important to train corps members self defence.
He added that the introduction of marital art was to expose all corps members to various ways they could protect themselves.
He also urged them to be careful and understand their community after the three weeks orientation camp. He therefore charged them to dress decently, avoid travelling about during the programme and shun night parties.
