  The Chelsea and Super Eagle midfielder, John Obi Mikel who featured for the nation in FIFA world Qualifier against Kenya in Calabar last Saturday has dismissed the rumour that he is set to wed the former toilet soap model, Sandra Okagbue.

In reports by nation tabloid on Monday, it was reported that John Obi is set to wed Delta Sandra Okagbue… the two love birds that have been dating for almost 3years are set to seal relationship…. Mikel to wed Sandra Okagbue, introduction this Sunday 31st in Onitsha, Sandra’s family home. 

 However, Obi told kickoffNigeria., “I don’t understand where this is coming from.

“I know her. We’re friends, but we haven’t spoken in a long time and definitely not about marriage.”
