OVER 225 PEOPLE WERE KILLED IN THE EARTHQUAKE THAT STRUCK PAKISTAN’S BALOCHISTAN PROVINCE


ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – A strong and powerful Earthquake struck a remote area of southwestern Pakistan powerful enough to disrupt the appearance of a small island off the coast has killed not less than 225 people in Pakistan.

The numbers of the death bodies recovering from the site of the earthquake is increasing every second. The Pakistan earthquake was felt across the Pakistan when it’s struck yesterday evening (Tuesday) which resulted to the loss of lives and properties.

The 7.7 magnitude quake and a depth of 20km (13miles) northeast of Awaran according to the US geological survey hit Awaran district of Baluchistan province and engaged the rescue team with a great task over night. The initial rescue focused on Khuzdar and Awaran districts in the west province where mud-built houses were greatly collapsed. 

The authority declared state of emergency in the southwestern Baluchistan province where the earthquake hit.

Jan Muhammed Buledi speaking for the provincial government today (Wednesday) said, more than 328 people were killed in Baluchistan province Pakistan.

Thousands of survivals are facing difficulties and over 400 hundreds people rescued are injured.
At as the time of filling this report, there is no one that can say the accurate figure of death or injured people as the rescue teams are doing the best at the earthquake scene in Pakistan.
