President Robert Mugabe, 89 ruled Zimbabwe For 33years Won Election Again For Another 5-years! Is He Planning To…


The incumbent President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, 89, who has been in power for 33 years now has been declared as the president for another five years with 61 percent over Tsvangiri 33 per cent.


Robert Mugabe has been in power after helped to end white rule in 1980. He was however won the presidential election held last Wednesday and will rule the country again for another five years.

The election that emerged Mugabe as the president for another term has been condemned and challenged by the 61-year-old Tsvangirai, who has tried to unseat Mugabe three times. He condemned the vote as “fraudulent and stolen”  

According to the Zimbabwe election officials, President Robert Mugabe won the presidential election with 61 per cent of the vote, compared to 33 percent for challenger Morgan Tsvangirai.

US Secretary of state John Kerry described the election as “deeply flawed” and said the US “does not believe that the results… today represent a credible expression of the will of the Zimbabwean people.
On Sunday, Austria called for the Zimbabwe to go to the poll again.

“Given our doubts the results, Australia calls for re-run of the elections based on a verified and agreed voters roll,” Foreign Minister Bob Carr said in a statement.

“President Zuma urges all political parties in Zimbabwe to accept the outcome of the elections as election observers reported it to be an expression of the will of the people,” a foreign ministry statement said.

Olusegun Obasanjo, head of the African Union Mission, said his monitors noted some apparent irregularities but that they did not constitute evidence of systematic tampering.

Tsvangirai vowed not to join the government as sign of protest against the outcome of the election. He said, “We will not join government,”

“We will go to court” 

“The fraudulent and stolen election has plugged Zimbabwe into a Constitutional, Political and Economic Crisis.”

Mugabe’s supporters have rejected allegations of rigging and claimed victory, raising fears of fresh uncertainty in a country long afflicted by division and economic turmoil.
According to the result on Saturday, Mugabe’s ZANU-PF party won 158 of the 210 parliament seats, giving it a two-thirds majority in the legislature that enables it to make amendment to the new constitution and existing Laws.
