Spain Train Crash: About 79 Died, 70 Hospitalized and 22 In Critical Condition


Dozes were killed in the ugly and shocking Spanish Train accident that occurred last week Wednesday's night where about 79 people died, remain 70 Hospitalized and 22 in critical conditions. The Train crash that happened on the eve of Santiago de Compostela festival when the train derailed outside the north-western Spanish City of Santiago de Compostela.


Politicians and Spanish Royals joined hundreds of mourners in Santiago de Compostela’s Cathedral on Monday evening to mourn the 79 people killed in last week’s train crash in Spain.

24naijanews.com gathered that the driver of the train, Francisco Jose Garzon Amo was already facing multiple challenges for the tragedy. Reports have it that the train was going at up to 190Km/h which is twice the allowed speed limit on that particular curve of track.

Investigators are prepared to examine the train’s black box data recorders for clues into the country’s worst rail disaster in decades.
