Lady Gaga Announces New Single, Album & App!

Lady Gaga has been laying under the radar for the last year or so, but now that she’s had some time to recharge and recover from a recent hip surgery, the pop star is finally ready to put out new music! Gaga announced her new album ARTPOP Friday on Facebook.


The album will be released on Nov. 11, 2013, and according her announcement, it will “bring the music industry to a new age; an age where art drives pop, and the artist once again is in control of “the icon.”" The album’s first single will be coming much sooner than that…get ready — on Aug. 19!

In addition to the album, Gaga will also be releasing an app on Nov. 11. The announcement describes the app as “a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community.” The app will allow users to build and share their own projects, chat with one another, and watch in real-time as Gaga’s new album “explodes” onto the physical and virtual universe.
Alright, Lady G., this better live up to the hype…
