African champions Nigeria may be heading to Brazil for this month’s Confederations Cup but their place at next year’s World Cup is still far from assured.
Nigeria’s qualification campaign against Kenya – a team that came close to beating them earlier this year, will be continued on Wednesday.
The second leg 2014 World Cup qualifier between the Harambee Stars of Kenya and the Super Eagles of Nigeria will kick off 4pm local time, which is 2pm Nigerian time on Wednesday June 5, 2013.
Probable lineups
Kenya: Duncan Ochieng, Owino, Ochieng, Mandela, Ndetto, Mohammed, Omollo, Wanyama Kahata, Lavasta, Aswani
Nigeria: Enyeama, Ambrose, Oboboana, Omeruo, Echiejile, Onazi, Mikel, Mba, Oduamadi, Ideye, Akpala
The game will be played at the Kasarani stadium in Nairobi.
Kenya drew 1-1 with Nigeria in the first leg played at the U.J. Esuene stadium in Calabar, Nigeria.
Nigeria will also be hosted by Namibia on June 12 in another World Cup qualifier.
