The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and JFK Consult Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a one-year training of corps member on entrepreneurial skills.

The Chief Executive of the Consult, Mr. James Abiona said it was important for corps members to get the basic entrepreneurial skills before they get through with their service year so that they would not remain job-seeker but become job creators.

He said the training which would be a national programme for one year would have the corps members engage themselves in a training session through the use of social media like Facebook and Twitter among others before they are invited to Abuja for the major training.
On her part, the Director, Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development of the NYSC, Mrs. Mary Dan-Abia, said it was important to train corps members on entrepreneurship aside the one they had during their 21 days’ orientation programme
