Moses: I'm Devastated Not Being With Eagles

Super Eagles and Chelsea winger Victor Moses has expressed his frustration over the injury which has ruled him out of the World Cup qualifiers away to Kenya, Namibia and the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Moses who was a member of the Super Eagles side that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, and also part of Chelsea’s UEFA Europa Cup winning team, discloses on his twitter handle on Wednesday morning, that he will back his Nigeria teammates in spirit during their crowded June assignments.


The former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic player states he has to follow medical advice concerning his injury, but is not happy it has affected serving his country at this time. 

“I am devastated not to be able to represent my country this summer. I have to respect medical advice on the injury. But I will be supporting the team though," Moses states.

Aside Moses, the duo of Emmanuel Emenike and Kalu Uche will also miss the Eagles busy June fixtures due to injuries.
