2013 Yoruba Movie Academy Awards unveils nominees

Organizers of the Yoruba Movie Academy Awards have rolled out list of nominees for 2013 edition of the awards ceremony.

Expected to be hosted by the Oyo State governor; His Excellency Governor Isaika Abiola Ajimobi, in Oyo State, the unveiling of the nominees have created a buzz in the industry.
Speaking with exclusively to Movie Moments, the executive producer of YMAA, Laface Oshinibosi, said this year edition of the awards ceremony would be a showstopper.


In his words, “YMAA is a celebration of creativity, and this year’s edition will be a major showstopper as glitz meets glamour. This is also a call for the support of the Yoruba movie industry stakeholders and the general public, as all road lead to the new and transformed city of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State where the award will be hosted before the end of the year.”
