Funke Akindele to co-host LaffMatazz

Nollywood Actress and Glo Brand Ambassador, Funke Akindele-Oloyede will co-host the premium comedy show, LaffMatazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends this Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Funke popularly known as ‘Jenifa’ or ‘Sulia’ owing to the funny role she played in her blockbuster movie, The Return of Jenifa, which made over N35m at the cinema, will co-host the show with the convener of the event himself, Ace Humorist, Gbenga Adeyinka.

The event will also feature appearances from top stars like HKN star, Davido, Capital Femi, May D, Dammy Krane, LKT, Seyi Law, Skales, Jaywon, Seyi Shay, Lepacious Bose, Omobaba, Owen Gee, Seriki, Jayru, Obama, Eteye, Laffup, SB Live Band, Adetoun of Project Fame, Explicit Dance Troupe, Kayefi, Isaac Geralds, Peteru, Baba Gboin with DJs Sexcy and Van Vicki.

Speaking on the choice of Funke Akindele as the event’s co-host, Gbenga Adeyinka said, “The choice of Funke Akindele was a no-brainer, she is highly talented and she is no doubt, a role model to many. The youths and adults love her, with Funke, you can never go wrong. She has evolved over the years since she came into public consciousness in that popular sitcom ‘I Need To Know’ which was the toast of many at the time.(Tribune)
