Few weeks back, the movie industry was agog with the launch of Rukky Sanda’s duo flicks, Lovelorn and The search and with a manageable event, the actress launched the flicks to the admiration of friends and colleagues.
Top entertainers strut red carpet
Without doubt, the event, which took place at the Aura night club on Victoria Island, Lagos had the influx of Nigerian entertainers, who trooped in and out to celebrate with Rukky’s achievements. Some of the faces include Paul and Peter Okoye (Psquare), Jude Okoye, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCON, Capital F.E.M.I, Karen Igho, Yemi Blaq, Uche Jombo Rodriguez, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Tonto Dikeh, Alex Ekubo, Akio Ilami, Derenle Edun, Beverly Naya and Suzan Peters amidst others.
Colleagues endorse flicks
Several colleagues of Rukky not only came out to support her achievement but they also endorsed the movies by adorning branded shirts. Colleagues like Tonto Dikeh, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Suzan Peters and Uche Jombo Rodriguez adorned different branded shirts of either Lovelorn or The Search.
Tonto Dikeh’s late entry
Tonto Dikeh was one of the actresses many didn’t expect to show up early going by the gist that she kept monitoring activities at the event until about 1:00am when she decided to show up. Though her entry was late, it was appreciated by Rukky who is said to share a high level friendship with the controversial actress.
Rukky got overwhelmed
Before the event began, Rukky had Uche Jombo to help calm her nerves down as guests didn’t arrive early and kick off time was far gone before the event got organized. However, as friends started trooping in, Rukky couldn’t contain her joy as she took every opportunity to pose for pictures with other celebrities.
