MTN Connect Offers Muslims Free Trip To Holy Land

As this year’s Ramadan gradually winds up, a South Africa-based multinational mobile telecommunications company, MTN, has disclosed plans to offer opportunity for 22 Muslims faithful to win tickets to the Holy land for Umrah (Lesser Hajj) through the Ramadan Value Added Service (VAS) package.
The faithful will also have the opportunity to get Daily Ayat, Dua, Hadith after subscribing to the Ramadan VAS promo package.


The Ramadan VAS package, which is a product of the new MTN Family and Friends value offering, will see Muslim customers not only bond better at an affordable price but also have access to communicate and pray for one another during Saarih and Fast breaking periods of the holy month of Ramadan.

Commenting on the Ramadan package, Kola Oyeyemi, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN, said the month of Ramadan was an important period of reflection for every Muslim, which MTN recognised and was using the period to connect to its Muslim subscribers.

Oyeyemi said that these would package enables connection with up to 10 people: 8 MTN to MTN and 2 international numbers. Alternatively, subscribers can choose  one  international number, one MTN to other networks.
